Understanding Tasks

Tasks are used to notify users that an action is required. Tasks may be assigned to you during a Workflow, and they can be accessed in two main ways:

  • Homepage Active Tasks
    Tasks assigned to you are displayed in the Active Tasks box on your homepage.
  • Task List
    Click the clipboard icon in the top navigation bar to view a list of tasks assigned to you. You'll also see a list of Completed tasks 

In both cases, you can click on a task to navigate directly to the record that requires your attention.

Notifications for New Tasks

When a new task is assigned to you, you may also receive a notification via email. Additionally, a badge will appear over the task icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, indicating that new tasks are awaiting your attention. This ensures you stay informed and can prioritize your actions effectively.
