Creating and Managing Question Sets

Configuring Question Sets

A Question Set is a collection of questions from the Question Library, used in assessments or questionnaires. Each Question Set is linked to an attribute on the entity, which determines the type of questions to be included.

How Questions Are Selected and Used

1. An entity has one or more Question Sets.
2. Each Question Set includes a configurable attribute reference that determines which questions from the Question Library should be presented.
3. Individual Questions in the Question Library are also tagged with one or more Assessment Types.
4. The selected attribute in the Question Set holds one or more values that correspond to these Types.
5. When a Question Component is added to a view and linked to a Question Set, the system filters and selects questions from the Library where the Assessment Type matches the value defined in the Question Set's linked attribute.
6. This allows for dynamic filtering based on previous inputs or contextual data, ensuring that only relevant questions are shown to the user.

Review and Scoring

• Question Sets can also define reviewer roles, which determine who can review submitted answers.
• Reviewers can see the scoring of the selected questions and change that scoring while they have edit access to the records.

Managing Question Sets

Access and manage Question Sets via the Workflow Configuration:

1. Go to Settings > Workflows.
2. Open the workflow requiring questions.
3. Select the Question Sets tab to view all sets.

Creating a New Question Set

1. Click Add Question Set at the bottom of the table.
2. Complete the following fields:
   • Name: Name of the Question Set.
   • Attribute: A workflow or linked workflow attribute used to filter questions that match the selected Assessment Type. Learn more about attributes here.
   • Reviewers: One or more roles permitted to review answers.

Managing an Existing Question Set

1. Select the navigation icon next to the Question Set you wish to edit.
2. Make changes as needed. All updates are saved automatically.
