Ordering Application Pages

Ordering applications allows you to control how applications and workflows are displayed for all users in your tenant. Frequently used applications can be placed at the top of the navigation menu, making them quicker to access.

Understanding Application Ordering

Applications and workflows are ordered using the Applications List under the Settings tab.

  • Applications appear in the order defined in this list across the left-hand navigation and application dropdowns.
  • Workflows appear in the order defined in this list within the tabs of an application page.
  • Only users with Application System Permissions can configure this list.

Managing Application Order

  1. Open the Applications List from the Settings tab on the left had panel.
  2. In the list of applications, locate the one you want to move.
  3. Use the reorder icon next to the application row to drag and drop it into the desired position.
  4. The order is saved automatically.

All users in the tenant will now see the updated application order in the navigation menu and dropdowns.

Managing Workflow Order

  1. Workflows can be reordered within an application:
  2. From the Applications List, select the application you want to edit.
  3. In the application details, navigate to the Workflows section.
  4. Use the reorder icon next to each workflow row to drag and drop it into the desired order.
  5. The order is saved automatically.

All users in the tenant will now see the updated workflow order reflected in the tabs within that application.

Key Notes

  • Reordering applies tenant-wide and affects all users.
  • Only users with the correct System Permission can manage application and workflow order.
  • End users will continue to see only the applications they have permission for, based on Record System Permissions, roles, and hierarchy.
