Managing Workflows

Understanding Workflows

Workflows help automate defined business tasks and processes by guiding an Entity Record through a series of stages. Each Workflow is tied to a single Entity, and an Entity can only have one Workflow.

A Workflow consists of multiple States, each containing multiple Stages, which can be configured using the Workflow Builder.

Accessing the Workflow Builder

To set up or customize a Workflow:

1. Navigate to the Workflows page via the Settings menu in the left hand navigation pane.
2. Open the configuration for your chosen Workflow.
3. Click on the Workflow tab to access the Workflow Builder.

By default, all Entities come with a pre-configured Workflow that you can customize to meet your needs.

Customizing Your Workflow

In the Workflow Builder, you can:

• Setup States and Stages
• Define Transition Logic
• Configure Stage Logic
• Manage Workflow Permissions

Suggestion: Start by setting up States and Stages first.
